KWL converts Pashby House into six one bedroom flats

KWL converts Pashby House into six one bedroom flats

We recently delivered a refurbishment project for Hull City Council Housing at Pashby House, James Reckitt Avenue in Hull. The project brief was to convert the interior of the building into six one bedroom flats.

Pashby House was built around 1913 as a hostel for women and girls working at Reckitt and Colman’s factory, and was latterly used by Social Services as an office.

Pashby House is a large 3-storey building, with brick, pebble-dash and a plain tile roof. It is in keeping with the style of the domestic buildings in Garden Village, and is an impressive “gateway” building at the edge of the Garden Village Conservation Area, empty for several years.
