KWL Christmas card designed by local pupils

Pupils at Bellfield Primary School have been taking part in a competition to create the design of the 2015 KWL Christmas card.

The efforts of the pupils were extremely impressive, with a winner from each year group and one lucky pupil being picked to have their design sent out as our official festive message.

As expected, the pupils responded with incredibly creative and original designs, grabbing the opportunity to show their imagination and talent - meaning a winner was particularly hard to pick.

Lord Mayor, councillor Anita Harrison, visited the school and presented the winning pupils with art sets, rewarding their efforts in producing the designs.

KWL ICT Manager and Governor at the school, Ian Livingstone, said "Bellfield Primary School was pleased to accept the challenge of coming up with the 2015 KWL Christmas Card picture and the pupils in each year group produced outstanding results which made judging extremely difficult."

Roger Grannon, our operations manager, added that “It’s important for KWL to be a part of the community”, recognising our ongoing commitment to projects in the local area.
